Alumi Logging In: Converting Email Addresses from School to Personal

We just finished our first year with Blackbaud. We collected our graduates' personal email addresses and are thinking of switching their logins to their personal email.

What are you all doing with graduate accounts? Do you keep them active? Do you convert the email address?

If me make this conversion, is it possible to do with a bulk upload?

    We are a google school, so our students login using their school email account.
    We inactivate their school gmail accounts in Dec, allowing them time to gather any google docs they may still want after graduation. We do not use the Alumni “portal”. Our alumni engagement committee uses other means to communicate.

    I do collect their personal emails and replace the school one. It is a simple upload. Our graduates lose access to their school email at the end of June. I will do that upload July 1. Even if they never choose to log in, having their personal email in Blackbaud gives us access to communicate with them for homecoming and other alumni activities.
