Importing Stock Gifts & Selling them?

Hi,

We received 250 different types of stock from a donor on one day. In database, we are able to import all 250, but the import doesn't work for the sale of them. This means we will have to go into all 250 gifts and sell them individually. This takes time and leaves room for error. Does anyone know how to import the sale? I am using the correct fields, but the sale doesn't import for some reason.

It appears this is a known issue and Blackbaud doesn't intent to fix it

You can try the “Batch” method mention here, but I never done it so not sure how well it works

Thanks so much! I was able to figure it out yesterday. You have to change the type to "Stock/Property (Sold)". BB's directions just say “Stock/Property”. You need the “(Sold)” at the end to import the sales information if you want to import both the stock gift and the sale of the stock gift.
