How to track enrichment cedits and invoice organizations monthly?

We’re building an enrichment API where organizations use credits to enrich alumni data. Instead of individual payments or donations, we want to track usage per organization and invoice monthly.

Has anyone set this up in Raiser's Edge NXT or integrated a similar workflow? Looking for tips on managing credits, monthly billing, and linking usage to organizational accounts.

  • @Martin Bongers Not familiar with this type of set up. But trying to think this through

    1. Cash Donations == will help you count credits if that's what you are looking for. I would suggest perhaps using the gift type = Other and a set Camp, Fund and Appeal (CFA) structure.
    2. Pledges = you can establish a set amount of credit and then draw down from these credits similar to a pledge payment. Once again using gift type = other and specific CFA
    3. Recurring Gifts = every month the orgs would be paying off credits.

    1. Alternatively, you could use actions to track the credits – set up a specific action type and then count the number of actions.
