Pledge - Send Reminders

hi,

There is a send reminder option as shown in screenshot below in RE database view, but there is nothing in RE NXT? How are we going to send reminders for outstanding pledge balances as we are using this part of the query in RE database view: Send reminders=Yes, how is that going to work in RE NXT? I created a custom template in MsWord and using the RE merge fields to send invoices out to our donors. This has been working well for us since 2019 using RE Database view, now RE NXT is next in line, so I am trying to set this up ahead in advance and to test it out before we start transitioning to NXT.

@Shawn Jacobson I know this topic has been brought up with product managers for Pledge entry, but here is an idea to vote for the functionality which I agree is needed.

@Shawn Jacobson there are two options at this point in time (since the functionality is not in NXT yet). You can use third party software such as LetterBox to send reminders or you can use Power Automate.

@Shawn Jacobson ?Or continue to use db view to generate until function comes to ‘unified view.’ That's what we're doing.

Query in webview does have this field that can be filtered and outputted.

Also, standard reports is next in line to be completed, and one of the standard report is pledge reminder, which should be used over just querying due to it's ability to take installment date into consideration

Hi Alex,

I realized that it has it exactly the same as database view. My question is, where is it in WebView donors profile under giving history when there is a pledge balance? I am looking for send reminders check box.

I do not see that anywhere.

You are right, the "send reminder" property cannot be "viewed" from the pledge gift page on NXT webview. Something to add to Idea bank or vote on one that likely already exists.
