Images not uploading on School Form

Hello,

Has anyone had issues uploading images to School Forms before?

I was able to upload other images, but not this one particular image we are trying to add to a medical form. I tested other images that worked (on the same form), and tried the problem-image in both PNG and JPG, but neither appear to render properly in school forms.

As seen in the screenshot below, the image does pop up successfully in the editor mode. However, in previewing it the image disappears, and returning to the editing page also makes the image disappear.

Not sure what could be causing it--I thought file size, but I tried larger image files and those successfully rendered.

Just wondering if anyone has had a similar issue with not being able to upload images on forms, and if there was any resolution or you were able to figure out what was causing that.

Thanks!

That's odd, especially since you can get it to work with other images! I am curious as to why you need the image as the full letter. It might be easier for parents to read the text if it were in a text box. It would be more adaptable to a computer, tablet, or phone screen.

The immunization image looks to be a copy of the California “Blue Card,” which is the school version of the record. Physicians provide either a “yellow card” or their various internal digital documents. If you want the Blue Card image, you can use a PNG screenshot of the graphic after the text box in the letter.

BB Support figured it out! It was the file name, which can't have dashes or some special characters. After editing the name of the image, I was able to upload it into the school form and have it appear correctly.

We could recreate the cover letters as text sections, though the formatting of Blackbaud's textbox isn't the best and since there are bullet points and tables, which for the former could be coded up with HTML (though right, I could probably opt for a combination of textboxes + images of the table).

Either way, I'm glad it was resolved and hope this can help someone else in the future if they're having issues uploading images.
