Embedding a PowerBI dashboard on a BB CRM web page

Hi,

We have a page in BB CRM that contains a couple data lists that we use operationally. We'd like to embed a PowerBI visualization (a map) into the bottom of the page. We have added a “Locator” element to the bottom of the page and in the “Edit Page” form under URL have placed a link to the PowerBI file that has been published to the default workspace in PowerBI. When the page renders, the section that we'd like to contain the dashboard says “Sign in to view this report.” Has anyone else encountered this? I am new to BB CRM and the SKY API so any help is much appreciated!!

Hi Sam. I have run into this. Usually the user has to sign into PowerBI once and then it will render for awhile - but it was not dependable, and we found it a bit awkward for the user. I assume you are using PowerBI Per User license? The only way I found around this was to switch to a PowerBI embed license. I can share more info on that if you like.

Yes please! I was not aware of such a thing as an embed license. Appreciate it.

So, what I did is create through the BB SDK, a dataview that would display the report, using the technology shown below.

    Here is the licensing information.
