The Buzz: Three Tips For Finding Useful Content
Click the blog title to learn more tips and see what’s happening this week in The Buzz.Some of the joys in the Blackbaud Community are the many helpful pieces of best practice content, the knowledgeable members ready to share their opinions and resources, the events, and Blackbaud Staff Blogs. Once you start reading, these joys can turn into worm hole, with over 100,000 members contributing. Here are three tips to point you towards the content you need without falling into a worm hole.
Tip 1: Search your key words on the Blackbaud Community Home Page, to see all content that could be posted in your product community, plus the Organizational Best Practice community, then use the filters to narrow your view to just blogs, just resources or just discussions.
Tip 2: Connect with one person from the member leaderboard, check out their activity on your Community Dashboard and click on any answers that apply to you to read more or join the discussion.

I love reading The Buzz! It always has something useful for me, who has only been using Raiser's Edge a little more than a year.
I totally agree on the worm holes! I've found so much information helpful out here that makes me go, “oh, yeah, I need to fix that!” Then I get side-tracked on what I really need to be working on. If only I could duplicate myself to get all these things accomplished in a regular day for me.

I've found so much information helpful out here that makes me go, “oh, yeah, I need to fix that!” Then I get side-tracked on what I really need to be working on. If only I could duplicate myself to get all these things accomplished in a regular day for me.
This is sooooo true for me! Every. Single. Day. “This is awesome”, I say. “Let me take care of that right now”, I say. And that leads to more finding and fixing! Triplicating ourselves might work even better!
