    Don't get me wrong, I am pleased that you have added these but…

    Why are they not in the constituent API? It makes no sense for them to be here. This is not a big deal in itself but it does mean that only environment admins can use them which may well be a big deal. If we ever wanted to make use of them in a general integration app it would mean that whoever is using these needs to be an environment admin which would exclude very many users…

    Please consider moving them!

    Totally agree. The Data API seems to be used for endpoints that are in BETA and should really be elsewhere - Gift Lookup ID to ID etc. etc.

    There doesn't seem to be rights sense around it either, users who can add gifts should also be able to add tax declarations so why hide it in an API that required environment admin rights. And why would you need those rights to go from a Gift Lookup ID to a Gift record id too - it's nuts.

    Needs a bit of a reallocation at some point without breaking everything…

    Great move to being to add tax declarations via the SKY API and not having to use 3rd party software to import manually into the database view using CSVs.

    Hey Everyone,

    These data integration APIs were originally built to assist internal teams but we quickly realized that there is value here for all partners as well. We made the move to get these public and useable and we are aware of the current permissions issues around using them. Our goal is to have all of these function the same way that standard Sky API endpoints work but we have no timeline as to when we can get that buttoned up.

    We hope the value in getting these quick adds outweighs the frustration around permissions while we work thru it all and get it cleaned up.
