NXT Donation Forms - "other" fund not an option?

I'm setting up a donation form in NXT and would like to include an "Other" option under the fund selection. The goal is to allow donors to type in a different fund name if they don’t see the one they’re looking for. I’m only listing our priority funds for this fiscal year, so I don’t want to include the full list.

I’ve noticed that this option is available in OLX, which is why I’m wondering if I might be missing something in NXT. Is there a way to enable or configure this?

    This would also be a critical item for me if we were to transition to NXT donation forms. We have our NetCommunity donation pages set up in a similar fashion, only including priority funds, and we also include an "other" type option so the donor can type in a different fund name or designation. It is neither realistic or good practice to include all funds, some of which may be internal, programmatic in nature, or inactive.

    In the meantime, create a separate fund of "Other" and then re-purpose the comment field to collect information on where the donor wants to designate their gift.

    In case you weren't already aware - wanted to share that you can add multiple funds to the form and control their order/display name.

    Hey Austen, What do you mean by repurpose the Comment Field? Can you provide an example?

    @Lisa Marchi, she is referring to asking people to put in the comments what the other fund needs to be. Since it is just a text box, you can use it like an other fund field, especially since it won't match up to a specific fund automatically, it will have to be manually adjusted.

    We added a new fund in RE called "other, please comment below" donors can write in their designation in the comments. During gift processing we change the fund, campaign , and appeal to match the donor's intended designation. Working well for us so far but it has only been a month
