Event Registration

How can I limit the amount of tickets a person can purchase?

For example: If we have a soccer game ticket, brunch ticket, and a parking pass then how can I limit registrants for only buying 2 parking passes?

I don't want them to buy parking passes for their friends.

Unfortunately, there is no way to limit a purchase by person - as the form has no idea who people are in relation to your event until after the transaction/form is submitted and the system locates a matching constituent record.

    I see a couple options here -
    1. When setting up your event form, you can limit the number of passes a registrant can buy by setting the "Max available" meaning - if you were to limit this to two, they can only buy two passes per transaction.

    2. Not offer parking passes on a form, but make that apart of an existing ticket cost or something that people have to purchase day off or on the phone in advance.

As Austen said, the form will not "conditionally" know how many ticket is being purchased there by limiting another "buying option" (parking pass) to that same number.

So nothing from a "system/platform" level, but I suggest you put fine print in place that they are only allow to purchase parking passes up to number of tickets being purchased, any additional passes purchased will not be honor and may be refunded.
