A BIG problem is some very important features that folks use in RE Database that may not be in RE NXT:

    1. Action Reminders - In RE NXT, there is not equal to this. In RE NXT you can download an action as an appointment to Outlook, but it is not the same as an action reminder, especially since we use the Action Reminder report that we send out to our Gift Officers.
    2. Action Tracks - In RE NXT, no such thing and as others have mention Work Flow, completely different and not at all like Action Tracks, which our Membership Department uses heavily.

I mean if you are going to create RE NXT, it should not only do all the things that database does, but some actual new items that would really help instead of fancy bells & whistles that add nothing.

@Joe Moretti - I presume you have, but if you haven't - please visit the RE NXT Idea Bank and leave comments on the ideas associated with Action Reminders/Tracks about why this important to your org. I've heard from BB folks recently that the comments on ideas have been a huge help as of late, to effectively communicate the "why" and help them as they evolve Web View into the Unified View.

  • Thank you Hallie - this sounds like it will be a great session and applicable to so many RE users! Very appreciative of you sharing this content. Maybe Blackbaud would consider including your session in the Virtual Conference too?

  • Looking forward to this … I know I have to let go but I am still holding on :)

I have bookmarked this for colleagues to help them migrate more to web view. Looking forward to many insights.
