Refreshing Embedded Power BI Reports
Once a Power BI report is embedded in Raiser's Edge, if a gateway is not set up to manually refresh, will the report need to be republished each time new data is included? I am using the connector to have Power BI and Raiser's Edge communicate.

No, if you publish to same workspace, it will tell you that there's already a report with that name in the workspace, if you simply replace/overwite it, then the report will have the same "ID" on the BI service and RENXT embed will not need to change.

if you do not setup a gateway, you will not be able to auto-refresh the power bi report you published onto the Power BI service.
You can manually open the power bi, refresh it, and then publish it to the same workspace.

Does this mean the newly refreshed report would need to be embedded each time to show the up to date date?
