Help with event set up

I created an event and I've never seen the registration options look like this. Can someone tell me what I did for it to look this way? How do I get rid of that area circled in red? We are allowing the guest to invite 1 person so I need to make sure they don't add on more than themselves and their plus one to the registration. Thank you!

  • I'm not sure precisely what you did, but I think this has to do with your fee setup, not your form setup. I just created a test event, and when my fee is set up as follows, I get the kind of results you expected:

I think @Ryan Hyde hit it on the head. This is what I would expect with a guest. In your screenshot above @Jolynn Uyehara, it looks like the individual purchased 2 tickets. 2 registrants and their guests would be 4 people. This would happen regardless of the fee structure, it's more of the nature of having 2 people per registration.

As mentioned already, registration that comes with ticket, the registration form will have the section that ask for guest name (or other info you specify to get). If you sell single ticket on your registration form, someone who's buying 5 tickets, will be asked for 5 guest names.

If you sell "bundle" ticket, then it depends on how many tickets come with the bundle. Your screenshot suggested what Ryan said. So someone on the form buying 2 bundles of 2 tickets, 4 guest names will be asked.

Registration form has the option where you can allow donor to "register later" (anonymous individual / anonymous group). If activated, there will be a checked that allow donor to register later for all guest or individual guest
