What is your favorite AI "assistant"?

ChatGPT is the one we are most familiar with, but what about Microsoft Copilot, Google Gemini, or the others? What is your favourite?

Personally, I use claude.ai for my go to, as it has privacy and language features that are a better fit for me. I've asked it to help me plan snacks for a theme movie night, and how to create an FRM analysis. (For fun, I asked claude to tell me how it was different than ChatGPT and it was an interesting answer, you should try that!)

I use Microsoft Copilot to help me specifically with work projects where I need it to connect with Word or Excel, or my Outlook to help me consolidate tasks, create meeting summaries, etc. It's privacy aligns with your Sharepoint settings and it's fully integrated, which is helpful!

I use ChatGPT to improve written communications and help generate ideas. Additionally, I use it to create complex nested Power Automate expressions and Excel functions - its accuracy is about 50/50 for this, definitely a 'trust but verify' situation. Ultimately, it helps get me started and I can evolve it into a workable solution.

I also do internet searches through Perplexity; I like it because you can pose a question and it summarizes results with 3-8 listed sources. Always verify info and use common sense, but it's a great resource to work smarter not harder.

I've used MS's Copilot to shorten some long emails. I rarely take of its suggestion verbatim, but I do use some of what it produces for brevity and clarity.

That's a smart way to use it. I tend to be wordy in emails, so "make this more concise" is my most common prompt! :)

So many resources! After @Hallie Guiseppe and I present Tuesday morning at bbcon we will share our slide deck and resources in this group. I plan to use the new Save Draft feature so they will light up as soon as it is over.

My favorite because it has a small carbon footprint, get's the job done, and I like using my own words but like @Don Burrhus and @Aldera Chisholm I tend to be wordy - is goblin.tools' Formalizer.

We are only allowed to use MS copilot - I have used ChatGPT before that was locked down at our institution - and I really like it

I use ChatGPT and MS copilot at work. Otter.ai for meeting notes as it can identify the speaker and has searchable summaries, scribe to help with procedures. Personal use I use those as well as Google Gemini.
