Error when running a query

I am trying to run a simple query to show how many of my beneficiaries are under a specific custom field. When I run the report, one person only out of the 16 on there, appears 3 times and I cant work out why. His record is no different to anyone else, and I have tried both static and dynamic reporting.

It means I then have to manually delete the additional lines form the report each time.

Any suggestions?

Chances are good that this person meets some other criteria that is in the output or sort. For instance, if you have constituent codes in either, and this person has three of them, that could be the problem. I often find fields in the Sort tab that I forgot I added, which turn out to be the culprit.

You can try suppressing the duplicate rows in Query, but keep in mind that it might not always work for you.

If you are using database view, open the Query and then go to Tools —> Query Options. On the "Record Processing" tab, you'll see the checkbox.

If you are using webview, click on the "Options" tab in Query and tick the "Suppress duplicate rows" option.
