Multi Period Reporting

How can I set up an Income statement for multi period reporting. I would like columns showing monthly or quarterly income statements.

When I tried to create a second column for amounts in a different month, it shows up blank.

  You have to set up filtering criteria by period or by specific date for each monthly or quarterly column, but it can be done.
