  • It's so disappointing the lack of virtual content / engagement! Sessions that were publicised as virtual are now suddenly not, with no communication from Blackbaud.

I really agree. There isn't much reason to engage during the conference if you can only do it virtually. And with the price of the conference already being so high, it creates even more of a divide for the smaller and mid-range customers who will never be able to attend. Just to note, my organization could afford this, but I'm using my professional development budget for another conference this year that is aligned to another area where I do my work.

  • Hi Suzie, I'm so sorry to read about your disappointment with the virtual sessions. Which session are you referring to as virtual then suddenly not?

  • The only sessions that are available virtually are the opening and closing sessions.

  • I agree—it’s definitely frustrating to rearrange your day for virtual sessions, only to run into error messages when trying to log in.

So far, the two sessions I’ve been unable to access are:

    • Implementing the Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge NXT Web View into Your Organization: A Year of Big Change
    • The Role of a Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge NXT Web View Database Manager: What’s New, What’s Not

Unfortunately, the "Watch On-Demand" option for both sessions isn’t working.

I’m also registered for the following upcoming sessions:

    • AI, Automation, and the Future of Payments
    • The AI Advantage Panel: Advancing Industry-Leading Fundraising Intelligence with Blackbaud CRM

Hoping access issues are resolved soon..

Just a note, I think the watch on-demand sessions are not up yet as some you mentioned just happened.

That being ssaid the in person experience has been great being able to see other community all-stars and the amazing @Crystal Bruce in person!

These are the sessions I am interested in:

    • Unlocking Data Potential: A Customer Case Study on OData Integration with Blackbaud Altru
    • Building Smarter Solutions: Blackbaud's AI Platform Journey
    • AI Is Hot, Lawsuits Are Not
    • Blackbaud AI: Ask Me Anything
  • Better question: which sessions are available virtually? I'm seeing the keynote, adam grant, and closing sessions. No actual sessions appear to be available online. Even the 2 that say "Watch On Demand" have no video on the on-demand page.

Here is one I was hoping to watch, but the on demand page has no video:

Implementing the Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT Web View into Your Organization: A Year of Big Change

  • Last year, I signed up for the virtual conference. The sessions weren't made available until a couple weeks after the live conference. I'm assuming they wanted time for video cleanup before posting virtually. Not sure if that's how they intended to do it again this year, since less information was available on the virtual offerings.

My favorite part of this year's conference has been meeting my fellow Community members! And winning a signed copy of Adam Grant's book. Can't wait to read it! 😄

What I was able to attend was really informative. Unfortunately, the space was not at all disability friendly and there way no way to compensate except to miss sessions and pay extra for mobility accommodations. I'm glad I was still able to do a lot of networking and get a lot of my questions answered in the marketplace. I wish the cost wasn't so incredibly high because the in-person experience is invaluable.

  • I see that the virtual sessions are starting to appear — I haven't seen anything about how long they will be available. Last year the sessions were available until Dec 31, will that be the same this year?

Other than Adam Grant's keynote which notes it is only available to Nov 8, that is.
