I was just told by customer support that the ability to create a prereconciliation report is gone from NXT. It is also no longer available in database view.

How am I to get approval to complete the recon without a prereconciliation report? Just tell the reviewer to trust me?

    I would love to see a pre-reconcilation especially for when it isn't balancing and I would like to print what I have checked off. I am a little old school when looking for recon issues.

    what information is the reviewer looking for you to provide before giving you approval to do the reconciliation?

    I completely agree that losing the ability to generate this report is not an improvement at all. It is very useful when looking for reconciliation issues in our larger bank accounts. The prereconciliation report was an extremely useful tool.

    I've always used NXT, so I don't have much experience with Database, but I'm going to add my 2 cents' worth here. I find the bank rec part of FENXT to be horrible. That's the nicest word I can come up with. I'll qualify that remark…it's horrible for large bank accounts with lots of activity. It works fine for all my small bank accounts. I have one very large operating account that I always have to do manually in excel. That prereconciliation report sounds like something that I would find helpful.
