Event Check-In Solutions: Bar Codes, QR Codes?

What are the best solutions for event day check-in for teamraiser participants? We need to make sure that attendees have paid their registration fee. But we have a large amount of attendees, so having them queue to be checked manually against a printed registration report is not feasible. And a good portion of these attendees may be registering the day before/day of or on site. Can LO generate a unique bar code or QR code that can be scanned on site for admittance?

    LO/TR does not have this capability by default. Neither does RE NXT with its event module.

    There are 3rd party app out there that suppose QR code ticketing, however, it does not integrates with LO/TR and will require work to import information or manually update the event in TR.

    If your team has development capability, you can create your own integration, but it is going to take time to create

    My name is Russ Oster and my company has the only mobile platform built for the day of your events that integrates seamlessly with TeamRaiser. Once we connect through the API we are constantly checking for new registrants and other new information and updating it on our end so you never actually have to close registration in Teamraiser. Someone registering in Teamraiser an hour before the event will be visible on our end when they go to check in. We also have self service kiosks you can use on the day-of and have a method for distributing barcodes to all participants to accelerate the check-in process.

    There's lots more you can do including tracking participant rewards and registering new participants on site. It all goes back into LO/TR via the API when the event is over.

I recommend searching for this idea in the Luminate Online Idea Bank at https://luminateonline.ideas.aha.io/ and if you don't yet see this idea, please add yours so that others can vote on the idea.
