Looking for how others utilize Giving Program / Type / Status

Our BBGM was configured many years ago, long before I was involved. We have a very simple setup for Giving Program / Type / Status. I'm looking to set that up differently, but would like to see how others have done it. Specifically Giving Program and Type. Anybody willing to share? Here is ours:

Cash Grants is a SUPER broad category. We have at least 4 variations of cash grants. I want to be able to set up different staff input/display forms based on the grant type.

    Hi Valerie,

    We have multiple granting programs, that are available to different applicants, on different timelines with different budgets. So our types reflect our different granting programs.

    Hope this is helpful and offers some food for thought :)
