Online Giving Form in NXT Linked to Tribute Name and NOT the Donor

We received our first tribute gift via the NXT online form. Our gift notification email shows the correct data in the correct fields, but it was hung up out under gift overview as needing attention because it was trying to link to the constituent who was the actual tribute that hadn't been in the database, has anyone else run into this? It was a simple fix searching and connecting to the actual donor, but was just curious if anyone else experienced that? Thanks ~Denise

    This is expected behavior that, depending on one's constituent data review settings, you would need to review "needs attention" and then connect to the correct record before processing the batch. My recommendation is to look Gifts: Overview every morning to resolve anything needing attention and THEN processing your batches.

    I recommend using Review transactions with unmatched constituents — Manually review transactions with unmatched constituents which is the sweet spot between having to review every single record vs. having RE use its own logic to create new records.
