Any RE users who use Eventbrite willing to share your experience?

We are looking for a new event registration platform. Does anyone use this platform for events? We run free, registration fee and split fee/contribution events.

What do you used to import data into RE?

Also open to hear other event platform recommendations. :)

Thanks

Have you checked out Trellis? It has some great features. For bringing over EventBrite, I've mostly just done outputting flat CSV and importing through Importacular (or Omatic). But, I know SmartThing has an Event plug in that may be worth investigating, I'm a big fan of all their other products: SmartEVENTBRITE

Thanks @Aldera Chisholm Trellis is on our list to check. CEO has experience with Eventbrite but not in a university setting. The output/import works smoothly for you?

Saw the SmartThing plug in - as we now have Importaculat and OmaticCloud due to other platforms we use, hoping I don't have to pay for or learn a 3rd import process. LOL. Yes, longtime user of SmartPASTE and have been looking at there other options now too like SmartTABS.

    Any other event platform recommendations?

Still researching. Anyone use any of the others suggested by team?

My concern as dba is getting data in RE while others are looking at other factors. :)

  • We use EventBrite, and created various routines in ImportOMatic for it. I've pushed us to use NXT Events because it's just way more efficient for Comms (and requires far less 'drop everything we have a last minute comms push!' for me). Happy to discuss if you want more details!

We've also used MS Forms (and again, I'm pushing for NXT).
