  • I am most excited for the grid batch view.

  • Import and Global Add/Delete. Curious to try the new Export functionality in Query, and wondering how existing Export profile will be migrated. Also interested to follow development of AI Agents for data maintenance.

  • I really like that the consituent view is going to be more like database view with tabs at the top instead of endlessly scrolling down like currently. Also I like that I will be able to set up a gift batch template instead of using the old ones.

  • I am VERY excited about the single row query results, the recognition programs, and the more accurate prospecting tools coming to Prospect Insights and ResearchPoint!

  • Can we talk about this single row query situation a bit more? I can't get excited about this as this already exists in export. I think it just makes export more…user-friendly for lack of a better term. I can see this creating more issues if users don't understand which fields are one-to-many fields. I would love to see more education about these concepts.

I really enjoyed learning about the new donor engagement tools and the enhanced reporting capabilities in RE NXT. These updates will make it easier to personalize outreach and measure impact effectively. One feature I’m most excited about is the improved integration with other platforms, it’s a game-changer for streamlining workflows. For future updates, I would love to see more automation around recurring tasks to save time for busy teams. Great job incorporating community ideas into these innovations!

  • I'm excited to learn that there will be true template functionality in gift batches. Also pleased that gift code will be coming. I notice there is no planned gift type in webview, I hope that is coming in a future update.

No more accidentally filling the template batch with gifts from online express! I think that's a highlight for a few of my colleagues.

  • There was so much in this briefing I felt like it should have been two, but I am excited. The increased web view capabilities, recognition programming, and additional template abilities are going to be amazing!

Honestly this PUB was a bit overwhelming with the quick delivery to get it all in one hour. I understand many likely felt that 90 minutes was too long but I appreciated the extra time since there are so many changes in NXT. Like many, I am eagerly awaiting the batch updates so my org can transition more from DBV to Unified View. I am also curious to see how Export will look as that is heavily used by us to provide lists and such.

  • One of the most excitement updates for is the single row query export! It's a bit painful in database view to run the query and then have to export it. I work with queries on a regular basis and this new feature gives me more flexibility in addition to saving so much of my time time.

My biggest take-away is that Q1 is going to be a season of a lot of changes, and I think by the end of the quarters projected releases, we will start seeing new functions that are going to help folks who keep getting pulled back to database view for tasks. Grid entry and exports are absolutely going to be the pieces I'm excited for!

  • I know myself and many in my team will be highly excited when the Funds will show totals given by specific timeframes or in total and not just the top donors or top appeal activity. We are thoroughly enjoying the additional payment methods added to our online forms in NXT and feel that has lead to greater support in just a short time!

  • I am thankful that RE NXT WebView is progressing and has modifications that will make it equivalent to the robust program as RE database view.

  • I like the session, but I felt it was a bit rushed. That said, our office is eagerly awaiting the overdue batch updates. I am also curious to see how Export will look; we use EXPORT often throughout the day to provide lists and such.

  • As a couple others have mentioned I too feel Web View is not configured for the database administrators who are in the system all day every day. Visually its difficult and endless scrolling is too time consuming. I'm forcing myself to do a few things in web view in anticipation that I will have no choice eventually, but I still end up back in DB view to get projects done quickly. I ran a standard report that is not difficult and the way it exported is terrible. I've had the opportunity to see a competitor's database configuration recently and when I get back into RE, the web view is honestly a bit embarrassing and not what should be expected from BB who has always been the frontrunner and the standard in the industry, it feels and looks thrown together and needs A LOT of work. It oddly reminds me of eTapestry way back in the day. On a positive note, I do like the ease of adding attachments and that AddressFinder runs automatically.
