Advanced List That Shows Candidate's School Division

My school has two campuses. Blackbaud Enrollment Management uses 'School Division' for the campus name along with 'Entering Grade'. This permits reports to show School A - Grade 2 versus School B - Grade 2. If you just filter for Grade 2, you get a mix of schools.

I have an advanced list that is filtering all users with the Candidate role. It permits me to show Entering Year and Entering Grade, but when it spits out Grade 2, I cannot distinguish to between campus. How do I include 'School Division' in my advanced list? Or is there some other way to distinguish my enrollment counts by campus. I know SKY reports include it, and my Capacity Planning dashboard also does it, but I have an automation workflow that must use an Advanced List.

For those with the Student role, I have no problem including School Division, but for candidates, I cannot report accurately.

Thanks!

  • As far as I can tell, you can't acess the "School Level" through an advanced list for candidates.

A possible "hack" would be to include the school division name in the candidate's school (or candidate) decision

  • Thanks, Jamie. I'm dumbfounded that School Level or which campus Candidates are applying to is not accessible in Advanced Lists. I could consider adding the school division name in the decision, but wouldn't that mean I wouldn't be able to see it for all applicants prior to a decision?

  • That is correct. Your other possible hack would be to include the school division in the grade applied for text. Probably not really an option, as that grade level floats through the system more than candidate decision :/

  • Another thought would be to have two diferent admissions checklists: one for each school division.

You have access to the checklist ID in the "Candidate Status" table and could filter off of that field.

  • That is a thought. Thanks!
