Source Time Zone selection

In a PA flow, I have a "Convert time zone" action, which pulls my base time from a Get Past time. For the Source Time Zone, if I'm in the Central Time zone, should that be the value I choose, or are the servers all in Eastern Time zone?
I was in a BB class, and I thought I heard the instructor say I should use something other than my current time zone.

Get past time returns the date/time in UTC.

so if you are going to use the dynamic content from Get past time to convert, for the Source time zone, you will need to select UTC.

Are you using the School API?

You can get the time zone of your school using the API: https://developer.sky.blackbaud.com/api#api=school&operation=V1TimezoneGet

Or from the web portal: xxxx.myschoolapp.com/app/core?svcid=edu#demographics (you can also look at "hours from server" to see how it compares to the server's time zone)
