Use cases for Sky API with BBGM

We are beginning the process of convincing our Information Technology group that we need Sky API access to streamline our work. We've begun compiling a list of use cases but would love some suggestions from the Blackbaud community because I'm sure there are things we haven't thought of.

I am open to any and all suggestions but would really love to hear some thoughts or even some solutions others have done to streamline the grant making process. Automated grant coding, saving documents to requests, etc.

We're a Microsoft shop, so we plan to lean heavily on Power Platform tools. Automate, Apps, Power Bi, AI Builder are all on the table. This is likely our first place to make use of the Sky API. However, anything is on the table.

I'm also planning on posting this in other communities in order to cast a wide net of ideas and suggestions. Thanks to all that contribute.

    So interesting that there has not been a single comment on this. I came to the community to research the API for BBGM and see if anyone is using it. We're working with a client who is interested in some modeling with PowerBI, and since we have connected multiple RE environments in that way we didn't think it would be difficult. We're discovering that it really doesn't work the same way.

    Has anyone used the API connection to do what I'm asking?
