How to access school forms from a student's page--does it need to be built in Core?

I am trying to figure out how we can go onto an individual student's page to see all their submitted school forms created into Blackbaud.

I noticed that Core has a "Files and Form" section, but Academics does not. Can school forms only be accessed on Core?

And if so, should they be built on Core then? We originally built them on Academics. But if I go to Core to view the student's profile and view their files and forms, it does not appear there.

Thanks!

Hey @Nathan Ong! School forms are secured with a different task in each product. Today, the only way to see all forms for a user is to pull up their Core profile (via People Finder) and view the Files & Forms tab. Be sure to select the "Show completed forms" box at the top of that tab.

In the future, our teams will consolidate the School Forms experience so that all forms are available to manage in a single experience - while still respecting the permissions that secure them now. No firm timeline on that yet, but it will be required as we move our navigation into the Omnibar!

  • Thank you @Jessi Walters for the update!

I also figured another way to view them—instead of the student profile, you click on one of the parents and it shows the school form submitted (still under the child's name, but I figure something is happening where because the parents are submitting it it appears as files & forms under the parent).
