Online Donor wants to be anonymous
A donor made a donation online and followed up with a call to say they'd like to be anonymous. Does the "Payment is Anonymous" checkbox exist anywhere where I can edit the Sales order? Or is my only course of action to remove recognition credits?

If you are using the optimized Online Giving forms, you can edit the payment in Altru and check the "Payment is anonymous." box.
