Report Using Balance Sheet & Income Statement

We are looking for a report that uses both balance sheet and income statement sections from a chart organizer that we created. Does this exist?

    @John Wood and @Mark Pickhardt great news, as this is actually easily available with the Custom Management Report. It defaults to including the Income Statement accounts but you can add columns with the appropriate balance sheet accounts and you can select your desired chart template on the General 'tab'.

    Sharing screenshots of a sample of this (summarized by fund) with the first two pages of this report, level 4 on a chart template. Of course you can elect to summarize by a different characteristic or show detail by account or account & another characteristic (Format), if you'd like. The Custom Management Report truly allows you to make non-traditional financial statement reporting to suite your needs!

    @John Wood - please clarify what you are looking for. Are you looking for a single REPORT out of Financial Edge that shows both Balance Sheet and Income Statement components? Or are you looking to create separate Balance Sheets and Income Statements that both use the same Chart Organizer? If the latter is the case, I would assume that there are some special components/filters, etc. within the Chart Organizer that need to be applied.

    @Mark Pickhardt Yes, we are looking for a single report out of Financial Edge that shows Balance Sheet and Income Statement components. We created a chart organizer that hopefully can be selected when running the report.

    @John Wood Unfortunately, the only report that I'm aware that shows both Balance Sheet and Income Statement on the same report is the Project Financial Statements; however, this is a default report and does not allow you to chose the Chart Organizer to customize the vertical output.

    @John Wood I'd probably need to have a better understanding of exactly what you were looking for, but you may want to try running the Custom Management Report to see if that is of any assistance.

    For context:

    The Custom management report provides a combined view of balance sheet and income statement accounts to get a broad view of your organization. It gives you flexibility in reporting financial information by combining balances across an entire chart template.
