Hi Blackbaud Community,

At Blackbaud, we’re committed to fostering a culture where authenticity is valued and employees are encouraged to show up fully as themselves. Pride Month is a meaningful time to celebrate that commitment, and to reflect on how inclusion and belonging show up in the work we do alongside you.

Across Blackbaud, employees bring this culture to life every day, including leaders within our PRIDE Affinity Group who help build connection, strengthen community, and create spaces where people feel supported and seen.

For Nichols Condon, Principal Customer Success Manager, that responsibility is deeply personal.

“My responsibility as a PRIDE Affinity Group leader is to make sure no one feels invisible,” Nichols shared. “That means showing up consistently, listening deeply, and creating spaces where every voice matters.”

“When people feel safe to show up as their whole selves, the work is better, the relationships are deeper, and the impact is real,” Nichols added.

That connection between belonging and impact is shared across Blackbaud’s leadership.

“Belonging isn’t created in a single moment—it’s built through how we show up for each other every day,” said Dale Strange, President of Corporate Impact at Blackbaud. “It’s about showing up with empathy, listening to different perspectives, and being intentional about creating space where people feel respected and valued for who they are.”

As Blackbaud continues to innovate, that same mindset shapes how teams lead and build for the future.

"Inclusion shapes what we build and how we build it. The decisions our teams make every day—what problems to solve, whose needs to prioritize, how we design for different users—are better when more perspectives are in the room,” said Kevin McDearis, Executive Vice President, Chief Technology Officer and co-chair of the Sustainability and Inclusion Council at Blackbaud. “That connection between belonging and better outcomes isn't abstract for us. It shows up in the products our customers rely on."

At the company level, this commitment shows up in intentional, ongoing ways.

“Pride Month is a strong reminder that inclusion is more than a moment—it’s a commitment we live every day,” said Maggie Driscoll, Chief People and Culture Officer at Blackbaud. “At Blackbaud, we are proud to foster a culture where employees feel seen, respected, and empowered to be their authentic selves.”

Pride Month is also a meaningful time for many of the organizations we serve—as you host events, engage your communities, and create spaces for connection and visibility. In that same spirit, Blackbaud employees are giving back this month through volunteer efforts that support organizations making a difference.

At Blackbaud, Pride Month is both a celebration and a reflection of how we show up together—through inclusion, belonging, and a shared commitment to the communities we serve.

Happy Pride Month.
