Email Appends?
Does Blackbaud still allow email appends? Are you all still doing email appends?
I asked our CSM about this and was sent to the Blackbaud Marketplace but I didn't see any apps specific to data appends. Are there any vendors that BB approves email appends with these days?
Previously we used FreshAddress, now AtData, as they were the only BB approved vendor at the time. But they've since moved away from the permission messages, which I'm under the impression is crucial for an append with Blackbaud/Luminate online.
Our CSM also suggested reaching out to the community so - here I am! 
I did search the community for “append” and “email append” before posting, but nothing came up. Admittedly, I don't access the community often so could have been doing something wrong. If there are articles out there regarding this info, please let me know! Thank you in advance for any help!

Not familiar with the terminology of “email append”, can you explain what you looking to do?The only “topic” off my mind about this is Blackbaud's data enrichment service of email finder that helps find emails of constituent in your Raiser's Edge database based on other info provided (i.e. first/last name, address, etc). Not sure if that's what you talking about

An email append is where we have all of the constituents' information - first name, last name, full mailing address - but we either don't have an email address or we have a bad one. We take that list of names and addresses and send it to a third party to “append” (add) the email address to it (they use a database of some sort to identify the person in the list using name and mailing address) and send it back to us for us to upload to Luminate. We use Luminate Online so I don't know if the data enrichment service will work for us.
Companies like Data Axle, FreshAddress (AtData), NPOInfo, AccuData, etc. all do this. AtData has done it for us for years, and they used to email the new email addresses to get the permissions, but they no longer do that which is why we can't use them anymore.0 -

Yes, then it is the data enrichment service call Email Finder. You can ask your BB rep (or support) to see if that service is available to Luminate Online customer.1
