Using eTapestry with QuickBooks - export IIF

Does anyone have experience with the importing option for QuickBooks NP Edition? On our end when we import it ALWAYS creates a new customer account in the vendor area. How do we make this go to the section for donors? Your help would be appreciated. -Karen

Not sure what you are you are referring to vendor area

In our QuickBooks we don't really have Donors separate from customers

Import does look for exact match before creating a new customer

We use cash sale option

The issue we have is that there is a space in the split line, making it necessary to edit the file each time to remove the extra tab

I have heard that other clients are also reporting this issue, but I have been trying to get Blackbaud to fix the issue for months

Slightly hopeful now that others are reporting the issue

Daniel Gillogly‍ we do not keep donors separate either, but there is a way. We are trying to figure that out right now so that we can keep better records that are distinctly separate. If you find a way, please let me know.
