NXT email marketing and donation pages

Looking for someone in higher ed that is currently using NXT for both emails and donation pages - we are looking at moving from Luminate online to NXT for email marketing and donation pages and want to talk to someone that is already doing this

@Sue Christensen - I do not work for a Higher Ed org, so I cannot help you out with examples… but there is one major difference between LO and RE NXT that you should be aware of, for both donation forms and email marketing, RE NXT does not give you access to the HTML code - it is purely a drag/drop interface. When playing around in RE NXT you may find that you cannot have everything set up the same way that you do in LO, due to the limitations of the system. Also make sure you are familiar with the Automatic Constituent Matching feature that RE NXT uses to aid in the process of online gifts, for you - it is conservative in its matches and may create duplicates in your system.

  • @Sue Christensen Hey Sue, I work for a community college too and use RE NXT for donation pages, events, and emails. They're not ideal but we are pressed for staff and they are quick and work well enough! Let me know if you have more questions.

Edit: I figured your question related to the omnipresent issue of higher ed orgs having way too many funds for RE to deal with. I see how you've laid out your website with the different scholarships each having their own donation page. Very interesting idea! This is indeed possible with RE and I've done it for quite a few of our funds. I also encourage our donors to heavily use the gift comment field to put in their scholarship donation preference and it works very well.
