Employment Type: Part Time 20 hours per week

Position Summary

The Gift Processor supports the fundraising actions of the Development Team. Primary responsibilities are gift processing and acknowledgement/stewardship processes, and database health and maintenance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Enter gift and pledge information in Raiser’s Edge database view and webview (NXT) and execute acknowledgement process.
  • Update biographical records in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Produce, record and manage all elements of the donation receipting and acknowledgement process.
  • Ensure data accuracy in the Raiser’s Edge software. Maintain data integrity.
  • Knowledge of tax laws and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Monthly reconciliation with Finance.

Education and Experience:

Required:

  • Education – Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office and ability to learn school systems

Preferred:

  • Experience with Raiser’s Edge NXT database system
  • Experience – Minimum of two years in gift processing
  • Experience working in a high school environment
