"E-mail for questions about profile" in Profile Access > View/edit profile fields

Does anyone know what this field is for? Can't find anything in the knowledgebase. I assume it's for users to contact us with questions about their profile. If we add an email here, where do users see it?

From Core > Security > Profile Access > View/edit profile fields, at the bottom

    @Daniel Wallach this shows up on the user's Profile, selected from the menu accessed by clicking on your name - basically the contact card on the “portal” side of the house. Since this is in the Profile access area, you might have to wait overnight for the setting to take effect. I'm not 100% certain. Please contact Support if you're still having trouble; they'll send it my way if there's an issue. ?

    @Daniel Wallach well, I feel silly. Apparently my memory is older than the contact card. This field used to show there (and my email address was in it!), but the field is now deprecated and needs to be removed from that page. I've added that to my list (for the team's less-than-ample spare time).
