Selling tickets through third parties

We would like to sell tickets through third party travel operators. To do this, we need to provide them with a group of barcodes that they can resell and their customers can use to gain entry. We can figure out the financial end in a few different ways, but we are stumped on providing bar codes that will work for any day and are scannable into Altru. Is anyone doing this and how do you make it work?

    Hi Susan, We do quite a bit with third party resellers. What has worked for us is to have a daily admission program that is dedicated purely to resellers. When needing to provide your reseller with their requested order, ie. x amount of adult, child, senior (whatever your ticket types may be), we'd create a sales order and then batch print so as to create a ticket number. No need to actually print. I've added a pdf printer to our printer list and then just close out altru. The ticket numbers will still generate. Those ticket numbers are then exported off of the sales order or through query. Be sure to confirm your reseller will convert those numbers to 3 of 9 barcode font, make sure what they are able to provide is confirmed to scan within altru and reconcile off of scanned tickets.
