How do you report on Membership Effort performance?

Would anyone share the queries or reports they've created to track Membership renewal performance? What's your process? We need to be able to say “Round 1 gets this response rate, round 3 gets this” for budget planning.

I'm feeling a little frustrated because you can't pull segment into a query, only Appeal and Mailing and that completely curtails any custom reporting. When viewing the Membership Renewal Effort page, you can't remove constituents from an effort. Deleting the Appeal from the constituent record doesn't change the quantity in the canned report so you could end up with inaccurate response rates if you pull a member from the mailing.

  • I have also found this to be frustrating and you cannot apply an effort to a sales order which will also skew the results.

    We use the name of the appeal mailing letter in a query to best gauge our results. Unfortunately, this does not guarantee 100% accuracy.
