How to manage possible duplicates for students who are not duplicate

Hi, this is for education department. How to manage possible duplicates for students who are not duplicate, but they have same full names and different student numbers. Each time I import the list of new students the possible duplicate number increases significantly and the majority of these are not real duplicate. Only a minor of these possible duplicates is real. Students are uniquely identified by student number so as far as they have different student numbers they are not duplicates.

I appreciate any suggestions and inputs in this regard.

    @Muzhgan Yaftali - The duplicate locater when importing is only going to look at name and contact information to try and locate a match. I recommend you do a separate search within a database view query to see if any students in your import file are already located in the database, searching on the student ID and the associated field where that is tracked in RE. Then when doing your import, uncheck the box on the general tab to look of duplicates, and proceed according to your import process.
