I just saw this fantastic article regarding a high school student who invented band-aids (or "plasters" depending where you're from) that change color in order to help detect infections. Blew me away that someone so young has the creativeness to put together such a life-changing creation.

    When i was kid we had local inventor that lived next door. All his were related to opening tuna cans.

    My other half likes to think of himself as an inventor - very Rube Goldberg-ish!!! He certainly thinks the things he comes up with are useful, but I am not sure anyone else would! ? Of course, I am having a senior moment and can't come up with an example off the top of my head! ?
