What's New In Raiser's Edge NXT The Week Of September 6
This week, Raiser's Edge NXT updated with new features and enhancements to help ensure positive relationships with donors and filter lists to only the constituents you want, based on specialized information important to your organization.
Set communication preference alerts. Communication preferences are a constituent's specific rules of contact, such as to not call after 8:00 p.m. or on weekends. To give a reminder or special instructions, communication preferences can now appear as alerts on constituent records. For example, the preference of "No contact on weekends" may be so important that everyone should be notified of it when they view records of constituents with that instruction.
Admins! To set these alerts, select Settings under Communication preferences on any constituent's record and choose which preferences to highlight.

View deceased information for related individuals. To keep current with constituents and help avoid awkward interactions, under Relationships on a constituent's record, Deceased now appears with the names of related individuals — such as a spouse or employee — who have passed away, along with when they were marked as such. For more information, see Deceased Individuals Help.
Filter constituents by custom fields. When you work with a list of constituents, you can select Filters to view and manage only those who meet specific criteria.
With the new Custom fields filters, you can include specific constituents based on specialized information your organization tracks, such as dietary preferences or interests. You can filter constituent lists to only those with specific categories or values of custom fields, or with custom fields applied during a specific time period.
