What's New In Raiser's Edge NXT For September 27

This week, Raiser's Edge NXT updates with some new — and highly-requested — features to analyze donor acquisition and track giving-related documents and collateral.

 
Analyze donor acquisition and revenue. To increase your donor base and lessen the impact of attrition, we recommend you focus on acqusition efforts to bring new supporters into the fold. To analyze donors who gave to your organization for the first time — or again, after more than five years since their previous gift — during the current fiscal year, you can now select Acquisition in Fundraising, Analyze. With these metrics, you can compare your current year's acquisition efforts — and the revenue that results — to previous years'. For more information, see the Donor Acquisition Analysis Help.

Admins! For each security group, choose whether its members should use the Acquisition metrics. For more information, check out the Analyze Rights Help.

Manage gift attachments. To retain a detailed audit trail about a gift, you can now add, edit, and delete any associated files — such as a PDF of the formal gift agreement or an image of the check received as payment — under Attachments on its record. As with attachments elsewhere in Raiser's Edge NXT:

• You can open them directly in their native applications such as Microsoft Office or Adobe Acrobat.
• They upload and open much, much faster than media files in the database view.
• They live in the cloud so you can easily access and manage them across devices.
