Let Us Give You A Reason To Celebrate With Fireworks & ETapestry's Online Giving

The 4th of July celebration is upon us. This means it’s time to gather with family and friends for BBQ’s, slap on the bug repellent, and watch the fireworks. My wife and I love taking our two girls to the local fireworks every year and watching their faces light-up with excitement and wonder as the spectacle overtakes the sky. The beautiful colors, the amazing bursts of sound and light, and the time shared with family and friends is the highlight of the celebration every year.
Recently the Customer Success team had our own fireworks go off as we were analyzing data and saw the great success eTapestry customers are having with online giving. In fact, eTapestry customers grew their online fundraising by 9.3% from 2017 to 2018. This was an 8.1% increase from the 2018 Charitable Giving Report which said organizations on average saw a 1.2% average growth in their online fundraising during the same time frame. This is a great reason to launch fireworks to celebrate.
We also looked at the average online gift made via eTapestry using Do-it-Yourself forms and Blackbaud Merchant Services. We saw the average gift was $176 per transaction for eTapestry customers, which was $29 higher than the $147 listed as the average online gift in the 2018 Charitable Giving Report (launch fireworks again!!!).
We want to make sure every eTapestry customer is experiencing this same level of growth each year and seeing as strong an average gift. This is why we’re launching a regular session that will occur multiple times over the coming months to help folks get eTapestry Do-It-Yourself fundraising forms and Blackbaud Merchant Services up and running. Our goal isn’t to just teach you how to utilize these tools to process online donations, but also to discuss best practices and ways to optimize the overall online donation experience.
