Skill Up! Skills Labs Announced at Blackbaud Developers' Conference

Published
Join others learning, using, and sharing new technologies and techniques to solve problems and build solutions. The Blackbaud Developers’ Conference June 7–9, 2022 welcomes all levels of dreamers, tinkerers, creators, and builders to a virtual experience. You’ll learn new dimensions to the tools you use every day – and discover new techniques you’ll want to try right away!

Last year we launched Skills Labs at #bbdevdays and these quickly became the hottest tickets in town. These small group ‘how to’ sessions teach leading edge new skills and techniques using a hands-on, practical approach. We cap session size to ensure a more personal experience, so you’ll want to register early to have first access to these first come, first served seats.

What can you learn in Skills Labs? Check-out some of these session highlights:
Skills Lab Speaker(s)
Sentiment Analysis Using Microsoft Power BI Matt Thacker, Data Manager, Thoroughbread Aftercare Alliance
Advanced S-Tags in Luminate Online: Conditionals, RPN, and Making the Sophisticated Simple Jeremy Reynolds, Senior Software Engineer, ZERO - The End of Prostate Cancer
Luminate Online customization and tips for Advanced Site Administrators Bruce Baughman, Director of Solutions and Support, Doing Good Digital
Building a Luminate Online Member Center Eric Jonas, Web Developer and Carl Diesing, Co-Founder, DNL OmniMedia
Did you know that your Luminate Online donation form 'submit' button can speak to your donors? Will Hull, MPA, Senior Consultant, Blackbaud

Don’t miss this opportunity, register now!

Registered participants will be the first notified when Skills Labs sign-up becomes available. We look forward to seeing you in June as our social good developer community gathers to network, learn, and BUILD A BETTER TOMORROW.

These look great! 2 questions:
1. Do I need to register in advance for these Skills Lab sessions? (sounds like it: "register early to have first access to these first come, first served seats.") If so, how do I do that? (maybe I'm missing something obvious)
2. Will these be recorded this year (please!!!)? Last year, there was so much great knowledge imparted during the sessions that it was impossible to get it all on one go-through. I was very disappointed when I realized that there would be no recording to replay later.

Hi Kyle - You do need to register for Blackbaud Developers' Conference to get access to Skills Labs. We will be opening up registration for the Skills Labs in about a week. Yes! This year they will be recorded and shared with registered attendees right after the sessions. Hope to see you in June!
