Innovating With Blackbaud Grantmaking And The SKY User Experience -- Bi-weekly Update #2:

One of the primary benefits of BBGM with SKY UX is improved navigation and usability. In this update we are going to talk about the quick find. The quick find tool lets you quickly search for records by Request, Organization and Contacts by default. You are able to customize and add additional record types and search filters.

In the classic view the quick find consisted of a white bar, radio buttons underneath and the orange find button. The radio buttons and search criteria is configurable only by going over and drilling into the User Menu.

In the Blackbaud Grantmaking view using SKY UX you still have the search bar, however the radio button is now a simple drop down and the settings can be easily configured just by heading to the right hand side and clicking on Options. Everything is clearly laid out and easy to use. Below is a high level screen shot.

Also – As you can see everything that was in my classic site came right over into the new view. No extra work is needed, but if I do want to make a change, its easy as clicking a button. And I can access this from any browser and any device.
