I've taken over this week's Community Happenings from Shannon to talk about all things bbcon 2018.
This year's conference will be held in Orlando, Florida - October 9th-11th. Here is the official link: www.bbconference.com.
There are a LOT of things happening right here in the bbcon Community and we want you to be in the know. Here we go!
"Save a Dollar, Become a bbcon Scholar!"
The bbcon team is looking for 10 people to award a bbcon scholarship! What's do you get with a bbcon scholarship? Scholarships for bbcon 2018 include a complimentary registration to bbcon 2018, inclusive of supporting events, meals (breakfast and lunch), evening events, and conference materials. In addition, Blackbaud will cover the costs for the top three scholarship winners’ hotel expenses for three nights.

We are looking for blogs from members who have attended bbcon in the past and would like to write about their experience. Great examples include: Top ten lists, lessons learned from bbcon, benefits of bbcon, what you loved about Blackbaud University Day, etc. You can submit a blog HERE for review! If we approve it, we'll publish it right here in Community.

We have a new contest coming soon and the prize WILL be bbcon passes. Last year, we had wonderful blogs & videos submitted and this year we are going above and beyond that. Stay tuned!!

I would LOVE to win a bbcon pass! My full time job is at a school that only uses everyday hero so they don't think I need to go. In addition, I am doing RE consulting at a smaller org that can't afford to send me. And if I don't go I won't be up-to-date on all things Blackbaud and I won't get...

Jason, you bet! We are working to solidify this year's speaker, but they haven't been announced yet. Robin Wright was AMMMMAZING. The year before her was Ronan Farrow.0
