The Buzz: April 2023 Edition!

Hello Community,

April is here and along with it are some exciting new things in Blackbaud Community.

Let’s kick things off with the community newest feature, which is also the focal point of April’s member challenge: the Blackbaud Community ideas page!

We created this page to collect ideas from our members on how we can improve our community. In addition to suggesting new ideas for features or functionality you’d like to see in Blackbaud Community, you can also upvote or downvote existing ideas. The Blackbaud Community team will regularly review the ideas and votes as we continue to ensure we are creating an engaging experience for our members.

But wait, there's more! For the month of April, anyone that posts an idea for an improvement to the community will receive this exclusive limited-time only badge:

Top Contributors for Q1 2023:

We’re excited to recognize the top contributors in Blackbaud Community for Q1 2023. These community members earned the most points over the course of the entire quarter:

• Top Contributor (Partner): Austen Brown with 61,895 points!

• Top Contributor (Member): JoAnn Strommen with 25,380 points!

• Top Ten Contributors (Members): Alex Wong, Tina Pappas, Jennifer Kluh, Dana Burton, Dan Snyder, Dariel Dixon, Whitney Shelton, Elizabeth Johnson, Miki Martin, and John Ronan.

Collectively, they earned a whopping 241,000+ points for the quarter!

The Product Update Briefings are this month! From innovations to roadmaps, be sure to sign up to learn more about the products that impact your work. Attend a live session or sign up to receive a recording of the session.

A quick note: Blackbaud Fundraiser Performance Management™, Blackbaud Guided Fundraising™, DonorCentrics, and in-product capabilities will all be covered under the Data Intelligence product update briefing on Wednesday, April 26th at 3pm est.

bbcon 2023 Call for Speakers

You still have time to submit a proposal to speak at bbcon 2023 in Denver, Colorado! Blackbaud is looking for experienced software user success stories, use-case scenarios, tips and tricks, and lessons learned. Do you have expertise to share? We are also getting excited about bbdevdays bbdevdays in June! Registration is now open for Blackbaud’s conference for all developers – from novice to expert – and you can sign up for notifications in the SKY Developer community to stay on top of discussions about this year’s virtual conference and to learn more about in-person regional workshops.
