Blackbaud NetCommunity Guide for bbcon 2016

NetCommunity Nation: We've lots of great content coming your way at bbcon 2016 on October 26-28th in National Harbor, MD! With over 160 breakout sessions, you've got plenty to choose from and we want to help you navigate the conference to get the most out of your experience. The first hint is that you can use the search function on the website or the mobile event app to search for product sessions or topics of interest and plan your schedule ahead of time so you and your teammates can maximize the great conference content. But we’ve taken some of the guesswork out if it and made some suggestions:
Wednesday, October 26th
- 10:30 - 11:45 a.m. | LEARN LAB - Blackbaud NetCommunity: Online Acknowledgements with a Purpose: In this hands-on Learn Lab session, learn to write more helpful, inspired, and engaging donor communications. Take a look at how thoughtful acknowledgement emails and donor confirmations can celebrate generosity and tell donors how their contributions matter. The goal of effective communication isn’t just retention—it’s meaningful relationships! This session is great for new users of Blackbaud NetCommunity. All Learn Lab sessions require pre-registration to reserve a seat. This session will be presented by Susan Ross of Blackbaud.
- 1:30 - 2:45 p.m. | Bulls-Eye: Effectively Targeting Alumni in Blackbaud NetCommunity and Blackbaud Internet Solutions: Your Raiser's Edge or Blackbaud CRM database includes a wealth of information that can help you effectively target alumni and personalize communications. Blackbaud NetCommunity and Blackbaud Internet Solutions include a powerful toolset that can help you tap into your data to maximize donations, increase event attendance, and drive engagement. This session will cover strategies that can help you unlock your alumni’s potential hiding in The Raiser's Edge or Blackbaud CRM. This session will be co-presented by LaDona Fazio of Clark University and Sarah Davis of Blackbaud.
- 1:30 - 2:45 p.m. | Are We there Yet? Blackbaud NetCommunity Road to SKY: Blackbaud NetCommunity will be joining our company's other solutions in Blackbaud SKY, but how are we going to get there? Join us as we cover the latest on the Blackbaud NetCommunity roadmap and review plans for the future. This session will give you a clear understanding of the product vision, long range plans, and how you can enhance your organization's systems for an exciting future ahead. This session will be presented by Pallavi Paranjape and Robert McAllen of Blackbaud.
- 3:15 - 4:30 p.m. | Double Down on Data: How to Optimize your Blackbaud Internet Solutions and Blackbaud NetCommunity Site for Google Analytics Gold: Join us as we discuss how to best implement Google Analytics in your Blackbaud Internet Solutions and Blackbaud NetCommunity site and optimize so you are tracking the right data to drive your website decisions. This session will be presented by J Schultz of Blackbaud.
- 3:15 - 4:30 p.m. | Multi-Channel Engagement: Successful alumni engagement is all about building relationships. Join us as we share how some schools are leveraging NetCommunity and social media to build meaningful relationships with alumni. Discover new ways to build an engaged alumni base at your college or university. This session will be led by Benjamin Schools and Kaylen Addison of Simmons College.
- 1:30 - 2:45 p.m. | 10 Underused Engagement Tools in Blackbaud NetCommunity and Blackbaud Internet Solutions: Whether you’re a novice or seasoned veteran on Blackbaud NetCommunity or Blackbaud Internet Solutions, we’re willing to be there’s some functionality you’re not using that can help you connect with supporters and save time. Join us as we highlight rarely used functionality in Blackbaud Netcommunity and Blackbaud Internet Solutions that can help your organizations create efficiencies and drive online fundraising. This session will be led by Robert McAllen and Trevor Kelly of Blackbaud.
