Adobe Flash: Notice of Deprecation
Adobe have advised that Flash will no longer be supported or updated by the end of 2020. Please refer to Adobe's official announcement at Flash & The Future of Interactive Content Blog, which contains further information and links to posts from all browser vendors.
As of the 7.2 Service Pack 1 release scheduled for Q1 2020, Blackbaud NetCommunity will deprecate the Flash Player part, and it will be removed from the list of available part types. This means that no new instances of this part type can be created moving forward. Existing pages using the Flash Player part will display a yellow banner indicating that the part has been deprecated. Blackbaud encourages our customers to review current industry best practices and standards, particularly HTML5 and refresh/redesign pages currently using Flash Player accordingly.
