Book Ordering information -- Using Course Request to create a book order list for students/parents

Hi All,


Is anyone generating a list of courses for parents/students for them to use with an outside vendor to order books from? We used to generate a list of courses in EE for each student, mail merge to a Word document, and then mail it home. 


We're trying to update that process in the K-12 SIS, and would like to have either a process where students can login and see their list of classes (maybe through course requests), or to generate a list that we can mail merge and email to parents/students.


Or perhaps another idea that we haven't thought of yet!

  • We are trying to do the same thing! We were successful creating a merge from the baked-in report called "Course Request Export - For Scheduling"(in the online signup category). Even though we were able to get it to one page per student, it was clunky to then post it to the student files. This year, we opened a "view-only" course request window after our deans went through and gave final approval to all the requests. Then we told people to screen shot it. For us, we don't want families seeing the schedule in progress, so we close it before our registrar starts generating schedules.


    Neither are great solutions... It would be great if there was something that worked like report card publishing for Course Requests.
