Need advice for Timed Ticketing Page

Hello!

We are attempting to make a timed ticket sales page for an Annual Event named Art Alive. In order to limit the amount of visitors in a given time, we have separated all of our ticket times into separate links. At the moment, if we were to link our "buy tickets" button, it would lead to a page that looked like this:

Simply having a page with a huge blob of links is a mess. I have suggested to my colleagues that the best practice was to create a webpage on our website that organizes all the ticketing links into pull down menus, showing the times corresponding to their respective dates.

My question is: Should to try to organize these links through the Altru web platform? or is it better to have our Website manager (Raindrop) create a page containing these links?

Hi Jose,

Just to confirm, all of the links posted above are events within the same scheduled program? If so, you can always utilize the program level webform link. We've had success adding to the page description something along the lines of "please remember to select the date/time of your arrival window". Feel free to reach out if you'd like to walk through our setup!

Yes, all the links are within the same scheduled program. Do you happen to have a screenshot on how your page looked like? I think that would give us a good idea on developing our concept.

Hi Jose!

You'll want all the events to have the same name to have it show up in the way that Beth mentioned. This is how we have our General Admission set up.

We're not doing timed ticketing, so you won't see the "other times" option in the screenshot, but we've always used Scheduled Programs for our GA program so that it's always had a day attached to it.

You'll noticed in the inset screenshot that as soon as I add an event with a different name to the program, the style shifts to what you're seeing. So, you'd want it to be just "Art Alive Admission" vs. "Art Alive Admission - Day."

Hi again Beth, I was wondering how you were able to get the calendar and times to show in a pull down menu. Is that a feature in Altru?

I think you could set it up as one scheduled program offered multiple times and put a capacity limit on the time slot. When one fills up it would no longer show as available. All events would be listed under one title and date, and the event calendar would reflect other times. We've done this with great success with our photography sales. See below
